Synergy Collective Society is a community-based organization that blends art with social responsibility to support and create cooperative community programming. We combine theoretical and practical training in community stewardship and planning to develop and support integrated partnerships between local charities, businesses and artisans.
What an incredible show we had May 7th at the Rowing Club. Don Alder, Marq DeSouza, Pancho & Sal and Vicky Sjohall were simply outstanding and the show left many inspired and wanting more. Gota love that. Please come and join us June 4th where we will be showcasing Melanie Dekker, Chris Ronald, John Pipus and our regulars - Beverley Elliott, Mark James Fortin, Yvonne McSkimming and the incredibily talented Denny Williams as our Host. The PACE Program, a therapeutic and educational centre for children and families, is operated by the PACE Child & Family Society, and has been a resource to the community since 1984. PACE offers a range of services to support families of young children who struggle with significant emotional and/or behavioural challenges. These services include outreach support to childcare centres; an intensive family program; therapy for children; support for families when children transition from foster care to another home, and training in the community. The programs are mainly funded by the Ministry of Children and Family Development and are free of charge.
Emelle's catering will be delighting us with a scrumptious meal and the Vancouver Rowing Club a spectacular view of the Vancouver waterfront. For those not sure of where the Rowing Club is located it is nue to at the entrance to Stanley Park off of Georgia street - 604 687 3400 - Doors open at 6:00pm sharp - dinner is served from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm - the program starts at 7:40pm and wraps up around 10:00pm. We have single to entire table ticket purchases available. Ticket donations are $25 for adults, $15 for seniors/students and children under 12 free.
If you don't know that our programs are run totally by volunteers, now you do. We can not do the work we do without the help of so many people and to that end, we want to acknowledge and thank all our volunteers, sponsors, donors, performers and charity members who donate their time and talent to make all of our programs possible.
