NOTE - We are preparing for our Annual Surrogate Santa Project and we are looking for patrons who may be interested in putting together a personal holiday hamper for an individual or family who needs some TLC. We work with Hollyburn Family Services who identify community members who are vulnerable and in need. Identified community members then complete a profile form that provides information about the individual or family and what they need to make the holiday season possible. We then match Santa's with profiles based on what Santa's identify they would like to support i.e. someone who is a senior, a single dad with one child, a single mother with two children. We then coordinate pick up of the hampers and have them delivered to the support worker connected to the community member who then delivers the hamper. No gesture is too small and one small act can make a huge difference. If being a Surrogate Santa is something of interest please contact Yvonne at ymuzak@telus.net or 604 726 5277

Warmly

Dr. Yvonne McSkimming
